As a professional in the wedding industry, I understand how stressful event planning can be and how important it is to have someone you trust overseeing your vendors at your event in order to ensure the vision you have in your mind becomes a reality on the big day.

Over the years I have witnessed Harprit Patel of Always and Forever Weddings handle stressful situations with grace and kindness, and noticed her meticulous eye for detail in ensuring her clients’ needs are communicated to their vendors before and during their events. I noticed how much calmer my bridal clients were when they had Harprit hired as their wedding planner vs. the others. I am in awe how she is able to handle these enormous responsibilities with a smile on her face, writing away in her notebook to ensure that she doesn’t miss any tiny details in the vision that her clients are communicating to her. I knew if I were ever to hold a large event that I would call on her for help; and that day came when we welcomed our second son, Jiorne Jagger Mann into this world.

Our family decided to host a reception scale party at Royal King Hall in Surrey to celebrate Jiorne’s Lohri. We waited a long time to welcome our second child, and we had a Lorhi party for our first son, so the party was on! I met with Harprit in person several times before event and shared the vision we had for our party. We wanted something elegant, beautiful, and fun! Harprit’s suggestions we appreciated and she put in me in touch with an array of vendors to meet our needs. We didn’t want our older son to feel left out, so we created “Chandan’s Corner”. Harprit was able to put me in touch with Party Works and helped me create a space including a crafts table, a cotton candy machine, popcorn machine, an air hockey table, and some basketball hoops to entertain him and his friends. We wanted the guests to make an entrance after the cocktail hour in the lobby and she arranged for two dhol players to arrive and play dhol as the guests entered the hall and made their way to their tables and seats. She coordinated with Jessie from Precious Moments Decor, and was on hand at my meeting with her and helped me plan the menu with my meeting with Nitin, the Manager of the Hall. She was in constant contact with the photo/video crew at Glimmer Films, Bhangra performers, Sukhi from Amazing Cakes, Sparks Photo Booth company, DJ Aftershock (our DJ), and she also helped me order the organza bags we used to give out our party favours (peanuts of course) at the end of the night, and she also ordered all the sweets we needed for me to create an Indian/Western candy and sweets bar for the event. This list goes on and on! I’m sure I have forgotten some of the other responsibilities you took on that evening, there was so much to do. I would not have done it without you Harprit, your help was vital to putting on this event.

Your event coordination skills are so appreciated, and so is your wonderful and warm personality. I highly recommend Harprit and all the vendors I used, I feel lucky to have booked you all. Having being immersed in this industry in the last 6 years, I knew which vendors to trust and we are so happy with the party and all the work you put into creating a memorable event for our entire family. What is a life but a string of memories over a lifetime? Thank you creating bright moment in the timeline of our story.
